Pharmacy Students Engage in Advanced Healthcare Topics at Nasser Institute Annual Conference

On Sunday, November 16, 2025, a group of 14 students from year 4 to year 6, accompanied by two Faculty supervisors from the Faculty of Pharmacy, participated in the annual conference held at Nasser Institute.

Throughout the day, the students attended a series of insightful scientific sessions addressing the role of Pharmacoeconomics in hospital settings, its impact on healthcare management, and its importance in guiding optimal therapeutic decisions. The conference also highlighted the growing role of Artificial Intelligence in the medical field and its expanding influence within hospital systems. Another key topic discussed was antibiotic stewardship and its critical significance in ensuring the responsible and effective use of antimicrobial therapies.

Our students actively participated in all sessions and workshops and gained valuable knowledge and hands-on exposure, enriching their professional development and deepening their understanding of current and emerging trends in healthcare practice.

في يوم الأحد 16 نوفمبر 2025 شارك أربعة عشر طالباً من الفرقة الرابعة حتى السادسة برفقة مشرفين من كلية الصيدلة في حضور المؤتمر السنوي الذي عُقد في معهد ناصر.
خلال فعاليات المؤتمر حضر الطلاب مجموعة من الجلسات التي تناولت دور علم الاقتصاد الدوائي في المستشفيات وأثره في إدارة الرعاية الصحية وأهميته في اختيار العلاج الأمثل للمرضى. كما ناقش المؤتمر دور الذكاء الاصطناعي وأهميته المتزايدة في المجال الطبي داخل المستشفيات. وتضمن المؤتمر أيضًا مناقشة برنامج ترشيد استخدام المضادات الحيوية وأهميته الكبرى في ضمان الاستخدام المسؤول والفعال للعلاجات المضادة للميكروبات.
وقد أظهر طلابنا تفاعلًا كاملًا خلال جميع الجلسات وورش العمل مما أتاح لهم اكتساب خبرات معرفية وعملية قيّمة أسهمت في تعزيز فهمهم لأبرز الاتجاهات الحالية والناشئة في الممارسة الصحية.
