Pharmacy Internship Students Lead Health Awareness Visit to Manarat Heliopolis International School
23 Dec 2025On Monday, December 17, 2025, the Pharmacy Experiential Training Unit, in collaboration with the Department of Clinical Pharmacy and Abbott Pharmaceuticals, organized a health awareness visit to Manarat Heliopolis International School in Nasr City, with the participation of sixth-year pharmacy internship students.
During the visit, internship students delivered interactive classroom-based awareness sessions and distributed educational flyers addressing key health topics, including diabetes mellitus and its warning signs, food allergies and their different types, and asthma, with clarification of the differences between commonly used inhaler devices.
To assess the impact of the sessions, pre- and post-awareness questionnaires were administered to evaluate students’ health knowledge before and after the activities. Educational flyers were distributed at the end of the visit to reinforce key health messages.
The visit received positive engagement from both students and school administration, contributing to improved health awareness while enhancing the communication and health education skills of pharmacy internship students, reflecting the Faculty of Pharmacy’s commitment to community service.

في يوم الاثنين الموافق 17 ديسمبر 2025 نظّمت وحدة التدريب بكلية الصيدلة بالتعاون مع قسم الصيدلة الإكلينيكية زيارة توعوية إلى مدرسة منارات هليوبوليس الدولية بمدينة نصر بمشاركة طلاب امتياز كلية الصيدلة (الفرقة السادسة) وذلك بالتعاون مع شركة Abbott Pharmaceuticals.
وخلال الزيارة قدّم طلاب الامتياز أنشطة توعوية مباشرة داخل الفصول الدراسية شملت موضوعات صحية هامة مثل مرض السكري وطرق التعرف على أعراضه وحساسية الطعام وأنواعها المختلفة ومرض الربو مع توضيح الفروق بين أجهزة الاستنشاق المستخدمة في العلاج.
كما تم توزيع استبيانات قبل بدء الأنشطة التوعوية وبعدها لقياس مستوى الوعي الصحي لدى الطلاب وتقييم فاعلية المحتوى التعليمي المُقدَّم وتم توزيع المطويات التعليمية لتعزيز المعلومات وترسيخ المفاهيم الصحية الأساسية.
وقد شهدت الزيارة تفاعلًا إيجابيًا من طلاب المدرسة وإدارتها وأسهمت في رفع مستوى الوعي الصحي وتنمية مهارات التواصل والتثقيف الصحي لدى طلاب امتياز الصيدلة بما يعكس دور الكلية في خدمة المجتمع.
