Faculty of Pharmacy Organizes Blood Donation and Mental Health Awareness Campaign in Collaboration with DIMAS Club

On Sunday and Monday, 23 and 24 November 2025, the Faculty of Pharmacy at Misr International University, in collaboration with DIMAS student activity, hosted a blood donation campaign organized by the Egyptian Red Crescent.

The campaign aimed to raise awareness among faculty members, administrative staff, and students about the importance of periodic blood donation and its vital role in saving lives. Over the course of the two days, DIMAS students actively supported the organization of the event and distributed medical awareness flyers on campus to encourage participation. By the end of the second day, a total of 155 blood bags were successfully collected.

In parallel with the blood donation campaign, the Egyptian Red Crescent team organized a psychological support activity titled “Red Week”. The initiative focused on raising awareness among students about mental health, emphasizing the importance of psychological well-being and seeking professional support when needed.

This initiative reflects the Faculty of Pharmacy’s commitment to community service, health awareness, and student engagement, with the active contribution of DIMAS students in event organization and outreach.

كلية الصيدلة بجامعة مصر الدولية تنظم حملة للتبرع بالدم والتوعية بالصحة النفسية بالتعاون مع نشاط DIMAS

في يومي الأحد والاثنين الموافقين 23 و24 نوفمبر 2025 نظمت كلية الصيدلة بجامعة مصر الدولية بالتعاون مع نشاط DIMAS الطلابي حملة للتبرع بالدم بالتنسيق مع الهلال الأحمر المصري.
هدفت الحملة إلى رفع مستوى الوعي لدى أعضاء هيئة التدريس والعاملين والطلاب بأهمية التبرع المنتظم بالدم ودوره الحيوي في إنقاذ الأرواح. وخلال يومي الحملة شارك طلاب DIMAS في تنظيم الفعالية وتوزيع منشورات طبية توعوية في مختلف أنحاء الحرم الجامعي. وبنهاية اليوم الثاني، تم جمع 155 كيس دم من داخل حرم الجامعة.
وبالتوازي مع حملة التبرع بالدم، نظم فريق الهلال الأحمر فعالية للدعم النفسي تحت عنوان الأسبوع الأحمر والتي هدفت إلى توعية الطلاب بأهمية الصحة النفسية وضرورة طلب الدعم المناسب عند الحاجة.
تعكس هذه المبادرة التزام كلية الصيدلة بدورها المجتمعي وتعزيز الوعي الصحي ودعم مشاركة الطلاب الفاعلة في الأنشطة الخدمية
