Technical Session on Cybersecurity and Penetration Testing

On Monday, July 21, 2025, the Faculty of Computer Science hosted a specialized session titled “Getting Started with Cybersecurity and Penetration Testing.” The session was presented by Eng. Ahmed Hassan, an experienced Penetration Tester and Cybersecurity Consultant at Condignum GmbH.

During the talk, Eng. Hassan introduced students to the fundamentals of ethical hacking, key concepts of penetration testing, and practical cybersecurity scenarios from the field. He also offered valuable guidance for students aspiring to build a career in cybersecurity, outlining essential steps to develop foundational skills in this rapidly evolving and vital industry.

This event underscored MIU’s continued commitment to providing students with industry-relevant knowledge and facilitating connections with leading professionals in technological innovation and cybersecurity.

جلسة تقنية حول الأمن السيبراني واختبار الاختراق

نظّمت كلية المعلومات والحاسبات جلسة متخصصة بعنوان “البدء في مجال الأمن السيبراني واختبار الاختراق”، وذلك يوم الإثنين الموافق 21 يوليو 2025 ، قدّم الجلسة المهندس أحمد حسن، خبير اختبار اختراق ومستشار أمن سيبراني لدى شركة Condignum GmbH.

تناولت الجلسة أساسيات الاختراق الأخلاقي، ومفاهيم اختبار الاختراق، بالإضافة إلى سيناريوهات من الواقع العملي في مجال الأمن السيبراني. كما شارك المهندس أحمد حسن نصائح عملية للطلاب المهتمين بالدخول إلى هذا المجال، موضحًا خطوات البدء وبناء المهارات اللازمة في واحد من أكثر المجالات أهمية وتطورًا في العصر الرقمي.

وتأتي هذه الجلسة في إطار حرص الجامعة على ربط طلابها بأحدث التطورات في القطاع التقني، وتزويدهم بالمعرفة التطبيقية التي تؤهلهم لسوق العمل والمستقبل المهني.
