Laminate Veneers Workshop: Enhancing Esthetic Skills for Dental Interns

The Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine- Internship Administration hosted an engaging and informative Laminate Veneers Workshop on Wednesday, February 26^th 2025, under the guidance of the Fixed Prosthodontics Division. This hands-on workshop, designed for 20 interns, provided invaluable insights into esthetic treatment planning.

The session began with a comprehensive 2-hour lecture, where interns were given   essential information about laminate veneers and the principles of esthetic treatment planning. Following the lecture, esteemed faculty members from the Fixed Prosthodontics Division conducted a live demonstration, showcasing key techniques and approaches.

The workshop concluded with a 2-hour clinical session, where each intern had the opportunity to practice independently, refining their skills and gaining practical experience in esthetic dentistry. The interns expressed their satisfaction with the workshop, with a percentage of 90%, particularly appreciating the opportunity to enhance their esthetic skills in a hands-on environment.

This workshop marks another step in the internship administration’s commitment to providing interns with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their future careers.

ورشة عمل اللامينات: تعزيز المهارات الجمالية لأطباء الامتياز

استضافت إدارة تدريب اطباء الامتياز في كلية طب الفم والأسنان ورشة عمل متميزة ومفيدة حول التغطية باللامينات يوم الأربعاء 26 فبراير2025، تحت إشراف شعبة التركيبات الثابتة. كانت هذه الورشة العملية، التي صممت لـ 20 من طبيبات و اطباء الامتياز، فرصة لاكتساب رؤى قيمة حول تخطيط العلاج الجمالي.

بدأت الجلسة بمحاضرة شاملة استمرت ساعتين، حيث تم تزويد اطباء الامتياز بالمعرفة الأساسية حول التغطية باللامينات ومبادئ تخطيط العلاج الجمالي. بعد المحاضرة، قام أعضاء هيئة التدريس الموقرون من شعبة التركيبات الثابتة بتنفيذ عرض معملي مباشر، يوضحون من خلاله الأساليب والتقنيات الرئيسية.

اختتمت الورشة بجلسة عملية استمرت ساعتين، حيث أتيحت لكل اطباء الامتياز فرصة للتدريب المستقل، مما سمح لهم بتطوير مهاراتهم واكتساب خبرة عملية في مجال طب الأسنان الجمالي. عبر اطباء الامتياز عن رضائهم عن الورشة بنسبة 90% ، معربين عن تقديرهم للفرصة التي أتيحت لهم لتعزيز مهاراتهم الجمالية في بيئة عملية.

تعد هذه الورشة خطوة أخرى في التزام إدارة تدريب اطباء الامتياز بتوفير المهارات والمعرفة اللازمة من أجل تفوق اطباء الامتياز في مسيرتهم المهنية المستقبلية.
