The Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine’s Internship Administration was proud to host an informative and practical session focused on restorative dentistry, specifically anterior fillings. The session was held on Thursday, February 27^th 2025 under the guidance of the Operative division. It provided 45 dental interns with valuable insights into the essential techniques and materials used for anterior restorative procedures.

The event began with a detailed 2-hour lecture, where interns were introduced to the core principles of operative dentistry, with a special emphasis on anterior fillings. Following the lecture, faculty members from the Operative Division conducted a live demonstration, where they showcased the best practices for placing and finishing anterior composite fillings.

The live demonstration provided the interns with a clear visual understanding of the procedures involved in anterior fillings, giving them the opportunity to observe skilled professionals at work. Faculty members walked the interns through each step, explaining the rationale behind their techniques and the importance of precision in achieving optimal esthetic outcomes.

Interns expressed their appreciation for the session with an 80% satisfaction rate, particularly valuing the opportunity to observe firsthand the techniques used in high-quality anterior restorations. This live demonstration helped provide the participants with the knowledge and confidence to apply these techniques in future clinical settings.
