Awareness Campaign at MIU Dental Clinic Complex

The Community Service and Environmental Affairs Committee at the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine organized an awareness campaign at the MIU Dental Clinic Complex on Wednesday, December 11, 2024. The campaign was for the patients in the waiting area. The event was conducted in collaboration with the World Dental Federation (FDI) and featured the participation of nine dental interns under the supervision of faculty members and committee representatives.

During the campaign, the interns provided informative sessions on oral and dental health, emphasizing proper hygiene practices and preventive care. As part of the initiative, 80 toothbrushes and toothpaste packs were distributed to all attending patients, reinforcing the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene.

This initiative reflects the faculty’s commitment to raising health awareness and promoting community well-being.

حملة توعوية بمجمع عيادات كلية طب الفم والأسنان

نظّمت لجنة خدمة المجتمع وتنمية البيئة بكلية طب الفم والأسنان حملة توعوية للمرضى في استراحة الانتظار بمجمع العيادات التابع للجامعة، وذلك يوم الأربعاء الموافق 11 ديسمبر 2024. أقيمت الحملة بالتعاون مع الاتحاد الدولي لطب الأسنان (FDI)، بمشاركة تسعة من أطباء وطبيبات الامتياز، تحت إشراف أعضاء هيئة التدريس وأعضاء لجنة خدمة المجتمع وتنمية البيئة.

خلال الحملة، قدّم أطباء الامتياز شرحاً توضيحياً حول العناية بصحة الفم والأسنان وأهمية النظافة الفموية، كما تم توزيع 80 فرشاة ومعجون أسنان على جميع المرضى الحاضرين ، بهدف تعزيز الوعي بأهمية الوقاية والعناية الشخصية.

تأتي هذه المبادرة في إطار حرص الكلية على نشر الوعي الصحي وتعزيز صحة المجتمع.
