IHEPC Leads Mental Health Awareness Session: “Let’s Talk About It”
20 Oct 2024In honor of World Mental Health Day, the IHEPC Club organized a mental health awareness session on October 14, led by Prof. Dr. Abdelrahman Hammad, CEO of Iwan Psychiatric and former head of of the Addiction Unit at Abbasiya Hospital. Dr. Hammad shared valuable insights on managing depression, anxiety and stress and encouraged students to discuss their perspectives on drug abuse. The session aimed to provide students with practical tools to improve their mental well-being.
IHEPC ينظم جلسة توعية بالصحة النفسية بعنوان “لنتحدث عن الأمر”
احتفالاً باليوم العالمي للصحة النفسية نظم النشاط الطلابي IHEPC جلسة توعية بالصحة النفسية يوم 14 أكتوبر تحدث بها الأستاذ الدكتور عبد الرحمن حماد المدير التنفيذي لمستشفى إيوان للطب النفسي وعلاج الإدمان ورئيس وحدة الإدمان بمستشفى العباسية سابقًا. عرض د. حماد طرق التعامل مع الاكتئاب والقلق والتوتر وشجع الطلاب على مناقشة وجهات نظرهم حول تعاطي المخدرات. هدفت الجلسة إلى تزويد الطلاب بالأدوات العملية لتحسين صحتهم النفسية.
