Basic Dental Implantology Workshop

On Monday the 20^th and Sunday 26^th of May 2024, the Internship Administration Office in cooperation with the Oral Surgery Department organized a workshop titled “Basic Dental Implantology workshop” for 22 female and male interns.

The workshop began with a lecture held in the Internship Seminar Room followed by hands-on training on dummy casts teaching the interns to place implants. The workshop covered certain topics like the anatomical considerations in implant surgery, criteria for case selection, CBCT interpretation in implant surgical planning and basic surgical techniques in implant surgery including flap design and suturing. Two live Surgeries on patients were performed by the staff members of Oral Surgery Department in Clinic A and live streamed to the interns on screen of clinic A to be able to see the whole surgery of implant placement starting from diagnosis to the execution of the surgery. A questionnaire was distributed to the interns to evaluate the workshop and the satisfaction rate was 100%.

ورشة عمل زراعة الأسنان الأساسية

نظمت إدارة تدريب أطباء الإمتياز ورشة عمل بعنوان “ورشة عمل زراعة الأسنان الأساسية” يومي الأحد والاثني 20 , 26مايو 2024 بالتعاون مع قسم جراحة الفم والوجه والفكين بالكلية وقد حضر إثنان وعشرون متدرب من طبيبات و أطباء الإمتياز.

بدأت ورشة العمل بمحاضرة في غرفة ندوات إدارة تدريب أطباء الإمتياز ، تلاها تدريب عملي على قوالب لتعليم المتدربين وضع الغرسات. غطت ورشة العمل مواضيع معينة مثل الاعتبارات التشريحية في جراحة الزرع ، ومعايير اختيار الحالة ، وتفسير CBCT في التخطيط الجراحي للزرع والتقنيات الجراحية الأساسية في جراحة الغرس بما في ذلك تصميم السديلة والخياطة. تم إجراء عمليتين جراحيتين مباشرتين على المرضى من قبل قسم جراحة الفم في العيادة A وتم بثها مباشرة إلى المتدربين على شاشة العيادة A ليتمكنوا من رؤية الجراحة الكاملة لوضع الزرع بدءا من التشخيص إلى تنفيذ الجراحة. تم توزيع استبيان على أطباء الامتياز المشاركين فى ورشة العمل لتقييمها وقد بلغت نسبة الرضا 100%.
