Challenges of Implant Placement in Posterior Maxilla

The Internship Administration Office, in cooperation with the Oral Surgery Department, organized a workshop titled “Challenges of Implant Placement in Posterior Maxilla” for 25 interns. This took place on Wednesday and Monday, May 22^nd and27^th, 2024.

The workshop began with a lecture held in the Internship Seminar Room followed by live surgery. The workshop covered certain topics like anatomical considerations of maxillary sinus, criteria for case selection, CBCT interpretation in surgical planning and open vs closed sinus lifting surgery. A live surgery on a patient was performed by the staff members of Oral Surgery Department in the presence of the interns in clinic A to be able to see the whole surgery of open sinus lifting surgery with bone augmentation and simultaneous implant placement starting from diagnosis to the execution of the surgery. A questionnaire was distributed to the interns to evaluate the workshop and the satisfaction rate was 100%.

تحديات وضع الزرعات بالفك العلوي في الخلف

نظمت إدارة تدريب أطباء الامتياز بالتعاون مع قسم جراحة الفم والوجه والفكين ورشة عمل بعنوان (Challenges of Implant Placement in Posterior Maxilla) يومي الأربعاء والاثنين الموافقين 22، 27 مايو 2024 وقد حضر ورشة العمل عدد 25 متدرب من طبيبات وأطباء الامتياز.

بدأت ورشة العمل بمحاضرة عقدت في غرفة ندوات بمكتب إدارة تدريب أطباء الامتياز تلتها عملية جراحية حية، وقد غطت ورشة العمل موضوعات معينة مثل الاعتبارات التشريحية للجيب الفكي العلوي، معايير اختيار الحالة، تفسير CBCT في التخطيط الجراحي وجراحة رفع الجيوب الأنفية المفتوحة والمغلقة.

تم إجراء عملية جراحية حية لمريض من قبل طاقم قسم جراحة الفم والوجه والفكين بحضور أطباء الامتياز في العيادة A ليتمكنوا من رؤية عملية جراحية كاملة لرفع الجيوب الأنفية المفتوحة مع تكبير العظام ووضع الزرعات المتزامنة بدءاً من التشخيص وحتى التنفيذ من الجراحة. تم توزيع استبيان على أطباء الامتياز المشاركين في ورشة العمل لتقييمها وقد بلغت نسبة الرضا 100%.
