“Technical Sponsorship Awarded to Computer Science Students by Orange Business Services”

MIU’s Computer Science senior students participated in the OB MSI winter internship program, an endeavor designed to offer a profoundly professional experience that can effectively bridge the gap between academic pursuits and the dynamic demands of the market.

During the program, interns delved into cutting-edge technologies that are shaping the future, particularly focusing on cloud computing and artificial intelligence (AI). Through immersive sessions, participants gained invaluable insights and acquired practical skills, equipping them for success in the ever-evolving tech landscape.

One highlight of the program was a competition in which our students, Yusuf Mohammed Salem, Eslam Khaled Barakat, Hazem Mohamed Hamza and Hassan Hesham Bassiouny, showcased their graduation project, “Anomaly Detection based on AI,” under the guidance of Dr. Sahar Adbelrahman and Eng. Mohamed Khaled. The competition, featuring 25 interns from various universities, centered on AI and cloud projects. Our students’ project was selected among the top three AI projects and ultimately emerged as the winner, earning them the distinction of technically sponsoring their graduation project.

شارك طلاب السنة النهائية في كلية المعلومات والحاسبات في جامعة MIU في برنامج التدريب الشتوي OB MSI، وهو تدريب مصمم لتوفير تجربة مهنية عميقة تجسّد الجسور بين الاهتمامات الأكاديمية ومتطلبات السوق الديناميكية بشكل فعّال.

خلال البرنامج، غمر المتدربون أنفسهم في التقنيات الرائدة التي تشكّل مستقبل العمل، مركّزين بشكل خاص على الحوسبة السحابية والذكاء الاصطناعي. من خلال جلسات غامرة، اكتسب المشاركون رؤى لا تقدر بثمن وحصلوا على مهارات عملية، مما يجهزهم للنجاح في المشهد التكنولوجي المتطور باستمرار.

كان أحد أبرز ملامح البرنامج هو مسابقة قدم فيها طلابنا يوسف محمد سالم، إسلام خالد بركات، حازم محمد حمزة، وحسن هشام بسيوني مشروع تخرجهم “كشف الشوائب بناءً على الذكاء الاصطناعي” بإشراف الدكتورة سحر عبد الرحمن والمهندس محمد خالد. تمحورت المسابقة، التي شارك فيها 25 متدربًا من جامعات مختلفة، حول مشاريع الذكاء الاصطناعي والحوسبة السحابية. تم اختيار مشروع طلابنا من بين أفضل ثلاثة مشاريع ذكاء اصطناعي وفاز في النهاية، مما حقق لهم لقب راعي تقني لمشروع تخرجهم.
