Faculty of Pharmacy Influenza Vaccine Initiative

On the 13th of November 2023, the Office of Pharmacy Experiential Training organized an informative influenza vaccine session hosted by Dr. Mohamed Sabry, Abbott Product Manager.

This session was exclusively tailored for faculty members and fourth-year pharmacy students.

Simultaneously, a two-day awareness campaign on the 13th and 14th of November 2023 unfolded on campus, orchestrated by the Abbott medical team and DIMAS students, fostering awareness of the pivotal role of the flu vaccine.

During the campaign, students and staff availed themselves of the opportunity to receive the ‘Influvac’ vaccine on campus.

At the end of this two-day initiative, a total of 93 students and staff members were successfully vaccinated.

 استضاف مكتب تدريب الطلاب في كلية الصيدلة الدكتور محمد صبري، مدير المنتجات في شركة أبوت لإلقاء محاضرة عن التوعية بلقاح الأنفلونزا موجهة بشكل خاص لأعضاء هيئة التدريس وطلاب الفرقة الرابعة في كلية الصيدلة.

 وفي نفس الفترة، نظمت الكلية حملة توعية يومي 13 -14 نوفمبر 2023 في الحرم الجامعي، بالتنسيق مع الفريق الطبي في شركة أبوت وطلاب النشاط الطلابي “دايماس”، بهدف نشر الوعي حول أهمية لقاح الإنفلونزا.

 خلال الحملة، أتيحت الفرصة لتلقي لقاح ‘إنفلوفاك’ في الحرم الجامعي، حيث تم تطعيم إجمالي 93 من الطلاب وأعضاء هيئة التدريس والعاملين.”
