Faculty of Computer Science Sponsors CSISCC24

The Faculty of Computer Science is honored to have been a partner and a sponsor of the CSISCC24 Conference titled “The Role of Information Technology in Developing Various Sectors of the Egyptian Country in the New Republic.” The Conference was held under the patronage of Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, from February 21-22, 2024, at the Teba Rose Hotel in Cairo, with the participation and attendance of computer science and information faculties from 24 Egyptian universities.

Professor Mustafa Rifaat, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Universities, inaugurated the conference on behalf of Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The opening session was attended by Dr. Iman Ali Tharwat Ismail, Chair of the Computer Science Committee at the Supreme Council of Universities, and Professor Mohamed Hashem Abdel Aziz, Secretary of the Committee, along with several members of the Supreme Council of Universities and presidents of Egyptian universities.

The conference aimed at providing suitable strategies and methodologies for building the Egyptian knowledge and innovation community for the new republic through the use of artificial intelligence and modern information technology techniques. The 12 conference sessions were given by industry experts from local and international private sector companies. Topics were related to artificial intelligence for digital transformation, information security and digital forensics, smart cities, smart transportation, technological solutions, digital media, digital transformation, the role of artificial intelligence in the healthcare sector, the “Decent Life” project, and the role of information technology in supporting the Egyptian economy and technology localization.

كلية المعلومات والحاسبات راعي في مؤتمر لجنة قطاع علوم الحاسب والمعلوماتية

 تم تكريم كلية المعلومات والحاسبات في جامعة مصر الدولية كشريك جامعي وراعي في مؤتمر لجنة قطاع علوم الحاسب والمعلوماتية CSISCC24 بعنوان “دور تكنولوجيا المعلومات في تطوير قطاعات الدولة المصرية المختلفة في الجمهورية الجديدة” والذي أقيم تحت رعاية أ.د محمد أيمن عاشور وزير التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي وتنظيم لجنة قطاع علوم الحاسب والمعلوماتية بالمجلس الأعلى للجامعات. وقد تم عقد المؤتمر في الفترة من 21-22 فبراير 2024 بفندق تيبا روز بالقاهرة بمشاركة وحضور كليات الحاسبات والمعلومات في 24 جامعة مصرية.

 افتتح المؤتمر الأستاذ الدكتور مصطفى رفعت الأمين العام للمجلس الأعلى للجامعات، نيابةً عن الدكتور محمد أيمن عاشور وزير التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي وشاركت في الجلسة الافتتاحية الأستاذة الدكتورة إيمان علي ثروت إسماعيل رئيس لجنة قطاع علوم الحاسب بالمجلس الأعلى للجامعات والأستاذ الدكتور محمد هاشم عبد العزيز أمين اللجنة وعدد من قيادات المجلس الأعلى للجامعات ورؤساء الجامعات المصرية.

 يهدف المؤتمر إلى توفير استراتيجيات ومنهجيات مناسبة لبناء مجتمع المعرفة والابتكار المصري للجمهورية الجديدة من خلال استخدام الذكاء الاصطناعي وتقنيات تكنولوجيا المعلومات الحديثة. تحدث في جلسات المؤتمر 30 خبير من خبراء التكنولوجيا والصناعة وشركات القطاع الخاص المحلية والدولية لمناقشة وعرض الكثير من الموضوعات المتعلقة بالذكاء الاصطناعي للتحول الرقمي ومنها أمن المعلومات والأدلة الجنائية الرقمية والمدن الذكية والنقل الذكي والحلول التكنولوجية والإعلام الرقمي التحول الرقمي ودور الذكاء الاصطناعي في مجال القطاع الصحي ومشروع حياة كريمة ودور تكنولوجيا المعلومات في دعم الاقتصاد المصري وتوطين التكنولوجيا.
