Dental Implants Prosthodontics Workshop
30 Mar 2024The Internship Administration Office in collaboration with the Removable Prosthodontics Department organized a workshop titled “Dental Implants Prosthodontics”. Forty interns attended the workshop that started with a lecture on the 12th of February 2024 followed by hands- on training on the 15th of February 2024.
The workshop introduced different dental implant kits and components needed for construction of the superstructure prosthesis over dental implants.
The workshop featured the prosthodontic journey from the initial step of planning for dental implants for fully and partially edentulous patients to the execution of those plans and placement of dental implants, using CBCT and surgical guides.
A hands-on workshop was given to apply the theoretical knowledge gained. Each intern had the opportunity to place a dental implant practically.
