The Faculty of Pharmacy – Misr International University – participated in the 25th Dubai International Pharmaceutical & Technologies Conference & Exhibition (DUPHAT) from 25 to 27 February 2020. Ten students represented the faculty with three posters under the supervision of faculty members and teaching assistants.
The posters’ topics were as follows:
Formulation and evaluation of glyburide lyophilized nanosuspension tablets for improving oral bioavailability (under the supervision of Dr. Hany Mahmoud).
3D-QSAR pharmacophore, molecular Docking and 2D QSAR studies for virtual screening and lead discovery of new EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitors.
Correlation between vitamin B12 deficiency and hypotension (under the supervision of Dr. Fetouh Hassanein and Fawzia Shendy).
The Faculty won the 3rd Best Pharmacy Student Innovative Poster Award (for poster no. 2).
